Everything Must Go, a critically acclaimed dance theater work by choreographer Dana Ruttenberg, in collaboration with Hillel Kogan and Andrea Costanzo Martini, is a personal, autobiographical homage to letting go.
In a garage-sale-like space, the home (and heart) pour themselves out to reveal personal objects and memories, junk and treasures, the music that played during that first kiss, or that last breath. We practice releasing, freeing, parting with them. We celebrate this mourning, and latch on to those things that are simply not for sale.
